Soft-Plastic

EcoBarista soft-plastic recyclable bags are made to fit into collections streams such as ‘REDcycle’ and ‘Reground’. Built using polyethylene and designed with a removable valve to ensure the bag is recycled and coffee is kept fresh when stored at home or whilst being shipped.
Compostable

Our new rapidly-renewable home compostable coffee bag is derived from natural resources. Built using sugarcane, cassava and corn and designed to be compostable at open-air landfill sites in ambient condition (30°c), without requiring a specialised composting or recycling facility. Ideal for a shorter shelf life where minimal storage and shipping is needed.
Compostable Plus

A rapidly-renewable compostable coffee bag that is derived from the same natural resources as our compostable bag however we have added a plant-based lining for an increased oxygen barrier. Designed with a removable valve our compostable+ bag is ideal for sustainably minded roasters needing more protection for longer storage and shipping.

Our mission at EcoBarista is to achieve carbon neutrality for all our coffee packaging. Through a partnership with Carbon Neutral Pty Ltd, we offset our emissions to ensure our products have minimal impact on the environment. We can assure you that as we grow we will continue to strive for net zero emissions
Reground

Reground is a social enterprise helping organisations and individuals create a circular economy through waste collection and waste minimisation projects. EcoBarista soft-plastic bags have been approved by Reground, to turn the coffee bags back into oil, the material which forms the base of all plastic products. This oil can then be used to create new soft plastics.
Home Compostable

EcoBarista is proud to offer a highly anticipated home compostable coffee bags, made with certified & rapidly renewable materials. Home composting occurs at a much lower temperature and over a longer time than industrial composting. Everything that goes into making our compostable coffee bag range (besides the removable valve) will break down and decompose into organic soil.
REDcycle

Our new soft-plastic recyclable bag is designed to be deposited in the REDcycle collection stream at major supermarkets around Australia. The addition of our removable valve enables the bag to be repurposed into more useful things like road base and park furniture.
